Between the cordillera and the sea: Jesuit exploration and evangelism in Chile
Abstract
This article analyzes a series of incursions carried out by Jesuit missionaries in areas that are presently part of the Chilean territory. Several writings that resulted from these incursions provide information on the practices of evangelism and territorial exploration implemented by the Jesuits.
