Portuguese East Africa administration during the second half of the 18th Century
Abstract
In this text we will try to identify the specific characteristics of Portuguese administration regarding the Portuguese domains in East Africa, considering that the Portuguese Empire, during this period, was made up of different social realities and geographic spaces. We will, thus, characterize the economic, social, political and administrative situation of the colony of Mozambique.
