The landscape in movement: Signs of the use of water resources in flooded areas (hydrographical basin of the Camaquã River, State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil)
Abstract
The article analyzes the use and occupation of flooded areas, plains in the area of the Camaquã river’s delta, examining the process of change that the landscape underwent over time, provoked particularly by the intensification of economic exploration and the development of irrigated agriculture.
