The book reviewed here, New Struggles for History: challenges - teaching, is one of the most significant editorial releases on the challenges that history teaching is currently facing, particularly in the Brazilian case. Its organizers are two of the most renowned historians and editors of history books on various topics. In this collection of texts, Jaime Pinsky and Carla Bassanezi Pinsky brought together nine other researchers, some with great experience in research and a group of young researchers who are innovative. All in particular can present intelligent texts, constructed from mature and provocative reflections.
