Abstract

When trying new paths that incorporate the narrative possibilities that the web environment has provided, journalism finds in the multimedia production a trail that apparently reconnects it to the principles of the great reportage, in a possible dialogue with the classic strategies of the genre. However, the current context of the Communication, so marked by the fierce competition for the public and by the exacerbation of the image, seems to place these multimedia productions closer to a universe configured by the artifices of representation of the real – this based on a process that Lipovetsky and Serroy (2015) denominate “aestheticization of the world”. Such scenario is discussed in this text from the multimedia project “The Four Seasons of Iracema and Dirceu”, from the newspaper Diário Catarinense, from the perspective of conceptual and analytical hybridity on narrative, language and mediated interactions.
