Abstract

This study investigated the integration of Information and Communication Technologies – ICT in the high school curriculum in the context of the formation process of the National Pact for the Strengthening of Secondary Education. In order to contribute to the innovation of school practices, meetings for technological training were held with teachers. The research conception was action-research. Among the results were the innovation of school practices, on the basis of the integration of ICT, and the authoring process of the teachers involved, through the production of classes for the Teachers’ Portal of the Ministry of Education. The continuing education in the school environment as a pillar of the Pact was decisive to reach the results. The conclusions that can be highlighted are the facts that the construction of proposals mediated by ICT led to the emergence of other ways of production beyond the classroom and that there are some factors limiting the integration of ICT, such as the lack of a quality structure for access to the web, mainly in the classroom, and the absence of technical and pedagogical guidelines to undertake pedagogical proposals supporting the application of ICT.

Keywords: Information and Communication Technologies, integration of technologies, innovation, authoring by teachers.
