El impacto de las migraciones contemporáneas en la radio española. La representación de la interculturalidad
Abstract
This work analyses how the Spanish broadcasting stations, also known as radios for all audiences, reflect contemporary migrations and cultural relations. To do so, we have combined the data from the observatory Migracom about presence and informative processing and the reports on radio offering by the Consell de l’Audiovisual de Catalunya. From the perspective of the radio information, we have verified that the factor of proximity influences on the theme selection and focus (political, social, economic). On the other hand, the analysis of programmes evidences the lack of policies and consolidated strategies that able to approach the profiles of the new Spanish society. The situation demands proposals of action, even if only in reflection.
