Abstract

L’article cherche analiser les images utilisées dans la couverture médiatique internationale occidentale après le 11 septembre 2001, en esseyant d’identifier les solutions sémiotiques et formelles construites par les médias. De cette façon nous avons l’intention de comprendre les implications dans le domaine des répresentations construites et reconstruites sur les événements. Les images ont été prises pendant trois ans en particulier sur la presse canadienne représentative de la classe moyenne canadienne, de manière que on puisse comprendre, dans cette courte période, les négociations de sens, les tensions, les contradictions, les lieux ordinaires ou les éventuelles ruptures.
