Raquel Recuero's Perspective on the Role of Social Media Platforms in Information Disorder

Abstract

This review presents the thesis argued by researcher Raquel Recuero in her book published in 2024. The work revisits studies of disinformation as an object and as a process, and discusses the effects and confrontation of the phenomenon, intending to launch a systemic approach for its understanding, to promote an equally systemic discussion to mitigate information disorder.
