Música de Pernambuco: Relações entre políticas públicas e identidade musical

Abstract

Este artigo investiga até onde um instrumento de política pública, como um edital, pode articular regras socialmente compartilhadas para um gênero musical. Para isso, categoriza os projetos aprovados no Fundo Pernambuco de Incentivo à Cultura em um intervalo de dez anos (2003-2013) e lança a proposta da expressão “Música de Pernambuco” como uma possível categoria de gênero musical. Como resultado, identifica as relações sonoras musicais, as regras sociais, os novos agentes no processo de tomada de decisão e o impacto que isso pode trazer para a identidade musical da região do país.
