Abstract

The proposal inquiries style features, narratives particularities and unknown experience in the subgenre desktop horror movies by computer interface or multiple screens. Unfriended 2 - Dark Web (2018), by Stephen Susco, it’s the analyzed production through aesthetics efforts and their technological developments. Standing out by the performance relationship between characters, the movie distinguishes itself by simulating the hypermediated space of the web at the same time that the approach of the criminal appropriation of internet comes near of Thacker’s arguments about the darkness in the horror and the limits of thought.

Ana Maria Acker, Universidade Luterana do Brasil - ULBRA

Doutora em Comunicação e Informação pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS e mestre pela mesma instituição. Professora do curso de Jornalismo e pesquisadora da Universidade Luterana do Brasil - ULBRA. É bacharel em Comunicação Social - Jornalismo, especialista em Cinema e graduanda em Filosofia (Licenciatura) pela Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos - Unisinos. Como jornalista, atuou em rádio, assessoria de comunicação, web e televisão. Realiza pesquisa sobre o gênero horror, experiência estética e tecnologia. Possui interesse também nos seguintes temas: cinema brasileiro, audiovisual e educação e jornalismo digital. É autora do livro Experiências estéticas do futebol no cinema brasileiro, lançado em 2018 pela Editora Appris.

Juliana Cristina Borges Monteiro, Universidade Anhembi Morumbi - UAM

Formada em Cinema e Audiovisual na Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (UFES-2016) e Mestre pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação da Universidade Anhembi Morumbi (UAM - 2018). Pesquisa principalmente os seguintes temas: found footage, horror, cinema dispositivo e teoria do cinema. Defendeu a dissertação "Aventuras do dispositivo no ambiente online: uma análise do filme Amizade Desfeita", realizada com apoio da FAPESP. Atualmente, é professora dos cursos de Cinema e de Rádio, Televisão e Internet da Universidade Anhembi Morumbi.
