The spirit of atheism in Locke

John Locke was one of the first modern thinkers to publish a book devoted entirely to the theme of tolerance in the late 17th century. In his work, however, Locke presents limits: atheists are not tolerated. Thus, the aim of this article is to analyze the concept of atheism in Lock’s political thought.
