The multiplicity of virtues and the problem of unity in Hermann Cohen’s ethics and philosophy of religion
Abstract
This article discusses Hermann Cohen’s philosophy of virtues and presents, on its basis, an idea of the unity of human self-consciouness and God’s oneness. The first part describes the basic features of this theory of virtues and the secon part focuses on the unity of self-consciousness and God’s oneness.
