Usinagem de superfícies definidas em CAD
Abstract
This text presents one of the options proposed for the Master’s thesis research of the graduate program of Production Engineering of the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM, Brazil). The aim of this work is to demonstrate the development of advanced cycles for milling, through the use of point extraction of 3D geometric entities defined by CAD, to help in the automatic generation of CN codes, for cutting and finishing operations as a CAD/CAM system. With this aim, we used AutoLISP language and the platform of AutoCAD2000®. The CN program was used in the milling of a matrix, associated to a solid, generated by point webs, in a CNC Milling Center. The results show that the use of the system is feasible for small and medium-sized companies.
Key words: advanced cycles, CAD, CNC, point webs.Downloads
