Abstract

This article reflects on the interdisciplinarity of the curricular components Digital Culture and Portuguese Language and Literature, aiming to achieve higher degrees of digital, linguistic and literary literacy, using them as facilitators in Youth and Adult Education (EJA) at the College Application, from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. This analysis explores how the inclusion of information and communication technologies (ICT) benefits in the education of students and the school, helping to facilitate access to the digital environment in a conscious way , in the discovery of the main difficulties encountered with the public, to which we are directing the tasks, making it easier for them to develop tasks with them, and to perceive Digital Culture as a form of emancipation for the subject. It seeks to synthesize how the teacher should act in the face of new teaching tools, what the level of performance of the teacher should be and its importance, even in the face of so many technologies. It is also intended to demonstrate how technological tools are useful, not only in everyday life, but also in subjects such as Portuguese and literature, and especially in the digital, literary and linguistic literacy process of these students. The use of information and communication technologies even become auxiliary in the development of students inside and outside the school, respecting their individuality and contexts brought from their experiences.
