About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Entrelinhas is a journal published every semester by the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos – UNISINOS.
It includes original research articles, teaching projects, book reviews, final course paper summaries and literary essays.
The texts may be written in Portuguese, English, French, German and Spanish.
Originals * should contain in the following order:
- Title in the original language and in English;
- Author(s)’s name(s) and title(s);
- Author(s)’s mailing and e-mail addresses and telephone;
- Professional affiliation;
- Abstract in Portuguese in 20 lines followed by at least three key-words;
- Abstract in English in 20 lines followed by at least three three key- words
- Full text typed in Times New Roman, font 12, with 1.5 line spacing, according to the model. Click here to download model.
With the exception of research articles, the other genres (book reviews, teaching projects, final course paper summaries, and literary essays) should follow only items 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7.
Peer Review Process
The publication of the article is subjected to the previous approval of the journal's Editorial Board, as well as to peer review made by, at least, two ad hoc reviewers using the double blind review process.
The final acceptance of the article depends on:
- The recommendation of the reviewers;
- That the authors carry out the necessary corrections;
- And final approval by the Editorial Board, which decision will recommend one of the following options:
- Accept submission;
- Revisions required;
- Resubmit for review;
- Resubmit elsewhere;
- Decline submission;
- See comments.
