This article aims to present some considerations about the intersection of Hannah Arendt's political thought and the ambiental question. The following question will serve as a guide for the reflection intended here: if the natural realm is disturbed by human actions, is it reasonable to believe that human action itself may be capable of curbing the current catastrophic scenario? Therefore, the methodological procedure used here is a bibliographical analysis of the book The Human Condition (1958 [2010]) and some essays from the collection Between Past and Future (1961 [2009]). In general, the aim is to develop the argument that although Hannah Arendt cannot be classified as a "historian of the sciences", nor as an "ecological thinker", it is certain that she never ceased to be interested in and comment on the scientific events of her time, as well as being concerned about the consequences of human actions. Therefore, issues related to technological and scientific advances are of the utmost importance to both the world and politics. In short, the aim is to support the hypothesis that for Hannah Arendt, the image adopted of nature - at least since modern times - and the human actions committed on the basis of this understanding, directly affect our political existence.
