The topic of ethics in Kierkegaard is widely discussed, among other aspects, within the stages theory. Many of the pseudonyms express different ethical positions. But would the Danish author himself have proposed some normative ethics? Or is it just reflecting on a descriptive ethics? To what extent is Kierkegaard himself interested in the topic of ethics? This article aims to conjecture about such issues starting from the quarrel found in the secondary literature from antinomian and conciliatory ethical approaches (with Kant and Hegel). Our argumentative construction does not cease to be a response to both interpretations. Furthermore, we will discuss, together with our theme, whether it is possible to make a direct transition from the aesthetic to the religious, in order to eclipse ethics.
