Colour experience: defesa do disposicionalismo de Peacocke

Analisaremos as críticas feitas por Paul Boghossian and J. David Velleman (1989) à concepção disposicionalista de Christopher Peacocke (1984). Boghossian and Velleman criticam a premissa de Peacocke que afirma que as cores representadas no campo visual são meramente causadas por disposições dos objetos e, portanto, não têm uma referência objetiva ao mundo externo. Se isso fosse verdade, Peacocke não passaria de um pensador ingênuo, com uma concepção fenomenológica fraca da colour experience. Procurar-se-á mostrar que, no entanto, sua posição disposicionalista é defensável.Downloads
