Social Skills Training (SST) is one of the most used resources in promoting social skills (SS) in research carried out with university students. Recognizing this relevance, this study aimed to analyze the methodological aspects adopted in SS training with university students, performing an integrative review of studies published in the period from 2009 to 2019. Based on searches in the database of the Virtual Health Library - Psychology Brazil (VHL-Psi), 08 (eight) articles were selected, 06 (six) national and 02 international. The results confirmed the effectiveness of SST in promoting SS and improving the reduction of various psychological problems. They presented contributions to the improvement of this interventional practice, by gathering considerations about strengths, weaknesses and possible gaps related to demographic and methodological aspects of SST with university students.Downloads
