PortuguêsAbstract
Partnerships and alliances between companies and institutions in the social sector have contributed to the emergence of a new organizational format: social businesses, whose objective is to generate social benefits and overcome poverty. Considering that social businesses must be self-sustaining, they must present positive economic and financial results, in addition to generating value and social impact. The entire social business strategy must be implemented using a business model, and existing business models do not have the possibility to measure the social vision. Thus, this article proposes the development of a framework, based on existing business models, that enables the evaluation of social businesses in the economic, social result, in the quantitative and qualitative view. The framework must have a representation that enables the interaction between its activities, with the objective of creating, delivering, and capturing value for all involved. The proposed framework was based on the models: Canvas, Canvas Social, RCOV – Resources and Skills and Social Impact. This work contributes to research on social business and fills the following gaps: advances in studies on social business in relation to the social return measurement model and that existing business models do not care about or do not present the measurement of social return in the vision quantitative (value creation) and qualitative (generation of social impact).
