Corpos televisivos: domínios culturais e estratégias midiáticas
Abstract
The starting point of this article is some reflections on the meaning construction processes in television broadcast discourses. The discussion focuses on cultural features – game playing, seduction and prescription – as possible mediators in the construction of discourse strategies articulated for and by the televisional bodies. Such strategies seek interaction and audience, as well as the consolidation of the cultural media representations. The arguments presented are drawn from the analysis of three broadcast television shows and supported by theoretical principles on game playing, seduction and prescription.
