Major editorial structures of cultural journalism sections: Main characteristics of cultural journalism in Brazilian newspapers
Abstract
This article, which is based on a research project on cultural journalism in Brazil, discusses the main characteristics, specificities and highlights of the cultural sections published on a daily basis by the major Brazilian newspapers. The thematic fields that are more strongly present, the plurality of what is published in the sections, the standardization of agenda-setting and the media culture – which shapes that journalistic production and is also shaped by it – are the foci of its discussion.
