Abstract

The university incorporates too much rigidity in our processes. It contributes to the strengthening of the hegemonic narratives and to the “moral” sense of science. In contrast, laughing, ambivalent and restoring, dialogues with the open seriousness in the direction of a Gay Science. The historical conception of time and the utopian character, contrary to all forms of dogmatism and strictness, which is a typical characteristic of laughing, allow the displacement of perspectives, making possible an anti-canonical view of the university. The university chronicle, when telling the daily life of the institution, recognizes it as an open and unfinished body, encouraging the exercise of self-laughing.

Key words: power games, humor, dialogue.
