Work values and their relation with organizational commitment: the perception of collaborators of an internationalized factory
Abstract
The aim of this research is to identify the perception of collaborators of an internationalized factory about an existing relation between work values and the organizational commitment, as well as analyze the prearranged hierarchy to theses themes. The methodology strategy used is a case study addressed in a quantitative and qualitative way, which analyzed factory was an internationalized meatpacking, located in south Brazil. The main found results indicate that the collaborators give priority to the social relations and stability, referring to the work values as the commitment with a consistent field activity. So, it was found that the collaborators show instrumental commitment with the factory rules, having as the goal their own job stability, becoming evident on this way the relation between the relative values to the job and the organizational commitment.
